From 1 July 2014 the Municipality of Civitavecchia established the payment of an entrance fee of € 30.00 per day for transit and parking within the municipality area for all tourist buses, then for vehicles with more than 8 passengers. The payment of this sum is to be made in advance by the transport company to the Municipality of Civitavecchia, by bank transfer or postal order, and the payment receipt must be displayed on the dashboard so visible from the outside.
