Each year in May, the National Association of the Alpine Corps (ANA) organizes the National Gathering.
In the next year 2015 the Gathering will be held in L'Aquila, from May 15th to 17th.
For this occasion, the company Noleggio Bus Roma s.r.l. has the availability of hotels and bus from Rome and from all other Italian places to reach the capital of Abruzzo.
Program details for people who depart from Rome are as follows:
1st day: Rome – L’Aquila – hotel Pick-up h. 7.00 in Rome (location to be determined), accommodation in deluxe coaches provided by the company Noleggio Bus Roma Srl and departure for L’Aquila. Arrival in the late morning and guided tour of L'Aquila, the city unfortunately severely damaged by the earthquake in April 2009. You can visit outside the major monuments and landmarks of the city, according to limits imposed by the security: the Fountain of 99 Spouts, the Basilica of San Bernardino, Piazza Duomo, the Basilica of Collemaggio. Lunch free. In the afternoon, you can participate to the 88th National Gathering of the Alpine Corps (according to the program that will be determined by the Organizing Committee). In the evening, transfer to the hotel, dinner and night.
2nd day: 88th National Gathering of the Alpine Corps in L’Aquila Breakfast in hoPhone: Full day dedicated to the partecipation at the 88° National Gathering of the Alpine Corps in L’Aquila (according to the program that will be determined by the Organizing Committee). Lunch free. In the evening, back to the hotel, dinner and night.
3rd day: Sulmona – Rome Breakfast in hoPhone: In the morning you can visit Sulmona, ancient town who was the birthplace of the poet Ovidio, famous for its "confetti" (sugared sweets with almond or hazelnut or chocolate) that are exported all over the world. You can visit a sweet factory and you can see and purchase the amazing creations of "confetti" created by local craftsmen, a tradition that is handed down from generation to generation from many years. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon, departure for Rome, arrival in the evening.
Price per person: euro 250,00, min. 30 people per bus
The price includes:- Travel by coach from Rome city or Fiumicino/Ciampino Airport (possibility of departure from other cities, fee on request);
- Transport costs and VAT;
- Accommodation in a 3 star hotel with half board treatment;
- Accommodation in double/twin rooms with private facilities;
- Lunch at restaurant on the last day;
- Half day guide service in L'Aquila and half day guide service in Sulmona;
- Insurance;
- Tour leader.
The price doesn’t include: Tips, city tax, beverages, entrance fees, personal extras and anything not specifically mentioned in "The price includes".
Option to buy only the package services except the transport, with a reduction of EUR 50.00 per person.
