For the seventh time in its history, Rome will host the 78th Italian Open, the highest national golf review and essential tournament of the European Tour, from 2 to 5 September 2021 at the Marco Simone Golf Country Club, a club owned by Biagiotti family, preparing to become an unmissable appointment for the future.
In fact, Rome had already been chosen in the past as the scene of this annual sporting event: once in 1994 at Marco Simone, three times at Acquasanta in 1950, 1973 and 1980, twice at Olgiata in 2002 and 2019.

The Marco Simone Golf Club, located in Guidonia on the outskirts of Rome, has been deeply renovated and improved over the years, also in view of the next 2023 Ryder Cup, and will offer an extraordinary game course in addition to the comforts of its Country Club as an excellent restaurant ready to welcome you with its culinary specialties.
The Italian Open will bring considerable attention to the Eternal City thanks also to the participation of great international golfers, attracting many spectators and golf lovers who will stop in Rome for the duration of the tournament.
Transfers and accommodation for the event
