The Bingham Cup 2024, the International Gay Rugby (IGR) world cup now in its 11th edition, will be hosted for the first time in Rome from May 23rd to 26th, 2024.
Rome loves rugby, in fact boasts a tradition of over 90 years in this sport with "Roma Rugby" which was founded in 1930, and every year it hosts events such as the Six Nations Championship, a unique opportunity to promote the universal values of sport, of loyalty and respect for opponents.
More than 140 rugby teams affiliated to the IGR, with an estimated attendance of 10 thousand athletes with their coaches and carers, will come to Rome from all over the world but above all from Europe to participate in the 2024 Bingham Cup, thus attracting thousands of people who will will flock to the capital to witness the event.
Thanks to this occasion, the teams, the staff, the press and the public of enthusiasts will have the opportunity to visit the city and immerse themselves in the history and culture that distinguishes it.
