On Saturday 11st and Sunday 12nd August, Rome will be the meeting place for Italian young people aged between 16 and 30 years coming from all the Italian dioceses to meet Pope Francis in preparation for the Synod of Bishops on Young People, the Faith and Vocational Discernment, which will be held in the next October.
The main appointments of this great event in the capital where the Pope will be always present will be:
- August 11st: the prayer vigil at the Circus Maximus
- August 12nd: the Holy Mass in St. Peter Square.

The program established by the Vatican provides that in the days before the meeting, young people with their educators participate in a personalized pilgrimage in the footsteps of the Saints of their diocese, through Marian shrines or places of piety, and then conclude the journey in Rome.
At the end of the pilgrimages, the different diocesan groups from all over Italy will arrive to the capital by the chosen vehicle between train, plane or bus.
Depending by your arrival, our coach with driver will welcome you at Fiumicino or Ciampino airport or in one of Rome railway station such us Termini or Tiburtina, to transfer your group to the Circus Maximus.
For groups who prefer to arrive in Rome by coach directly from their city, we can provide the private coach service throughout Italy, agreeing all the steps before the arrival in the Eternal City.
At 1.00pm the Circus Maximus will open the gates to participants who have a pass (to be requested to your own diocese). The entrance will be on the Colosseum side, near the metro station.
From 4.30pm to 6.30pm diocesan groups will exchange stories of various pilgrimages.
The arrival of Pope Francis is scheduled for 6.30pm, then at 7.00pm the prayer vigil will begin, followed by dinner and celebrations.
At 11.30pm the white night of the faith will begin in various places of Rome and the groups can dedicate themselves to adoration, confession, meetings with other dioceses or other.
This will be followed by a coach transfer from the Circus Maximus or other agreed place to the hotel booked for the overnight stay.

In the morning at the scheduled time and according with our reservation center, the private coach will transfer the group from the hotel in Rome to the Vatican, with drop-off at the Gianicolo terminal, which is the closest authorized stopping place to St. Peter Square.
The meeting time is variable depending on the location of the hotel, having in mind that the access to St. Peter Square is possible starting from 6.00am until its filling because no specific sectors have been assigned, so each group will be able to settle in the square where it prefers.
At 9.30am the Pope will celebrate the Holy Mass followed by the Angelus.
At the end of the celebration, the group will meet the bus at Gianicolo Terminal, the same place of descent, then will go to the hotel to pick up luggage and then to the train station or airport for departure.
Alternatively we can transfer the group by private coach directly to the city of origin.
